SUHSD provides a comprehensive continuum of services for students with identified disabilities. The School Site Nurse will monitor students who are medically fragile or technologically dependent. On entrance to the SUHSD the School Nurse will determine the level of care for your student. If nursing procedures are required for the student while he/she is attending school the following procedure is followed:

1. The procedure will only be administered at school if there is written consent from the Physician and parent.
2. The Physician shall provide written instructions detailing the method, amount, time and route for providing the nursing service
3. Parental Consent and Physicians’ orders must be renewed annually.
